Installation

We utilize several different procedures to install our Insituform® tubes.

Step 1:
An Insituform® tube is manufactured in one of our own ISO 9001-certified plants using premium quality materials. The felt tube is coated with a permanently bonded, continuous polyethylene layer.

Step 2:
The Insituform® tube is filled with resin using our serial vacuum impregnation process. This technique ensures our tubes are completely filled with resin, not air.

Step 3:
The resin-filled Insituform® tube is inverted (turned inside out) through our CHIP® unit equipment into a deteriorated pipe.

Step 4:
Water pressure propels the inverting Insituform® tube through the pipe.

Step 5:
After the Insituform® tube is fully inverted, hot water is circulated through it, curing the thermosetting resin and forming a new Insituform® pipe.

Step 6:
Service laterals are restored internally using robotically controlled cutting devices. The rehabilitated pipe is then inspected.
